Book blurbing again

I kind of like summing up books in a few words. I think it's because I am lazy. So, here's some of the stuff I've read recently.

Even Cowgirls Get the Blues by Tom Robbins: Big thumbs + hitchhiking + Lesbian cowgirls = A book Sarah Palin would try to ban. Funny and strange but a great read.










Dairy Queen by Catherine Murdock: Recommended by Marissa. Cows and football and training. Breaking barriers both socially and with a Romeo/Juliet thang. Perfect for my neice.











The Off Season by Catherine Murdock: More about the life of D.J. So, more football and also, family angst. I hope there is another book in this series.











Thumbsucker: A Novel by Walter Kirn: Ritalin filled teen angst also imbued with Mormonism. A quick and fascinating read. Cannot wait for the book club.
