Damn you, Threadless

You know lately I have been able to push down my urges to buy t-shirts from Threadless. But then they sent me an email about the t-shirt Attack of Literacy!

How is the librarian and book lover inside of me supposed to thwart the attack of that awesome shirt? I think I will have to dominate it by buying it and wearing the shit out of it.

It's Friday and I don't feel much like blogging

So, it looks as though you are prefer fall, it won with a whopping 66% of the votes. Shockingly, no one voted for summer as their favorite season. Something tells me this is due to the fact that we are no longer school kids.

So, now I am curious who is your favorite John Cusack? Enquiring minds want to know.

Finally, on the t-shirt front: I need to pimp two shirts. The first is a new Glarkware Now or Never. For those of us who love and miss Arrested Development, there is Annyong, Hermano! The other shirt is from GMYH. GMYH fulfilled my wish and created a girly version of Steely Dan Sucks. I can't thank him enough.

Threadless is blowing up!

For those of you who aren't in the know, Threadless is opening an actual store in Chicago. I have talked about my Threadless addiction before but now I know this is a stop that will have to be made when I return to Chicago (date t.b.a.). I am only glad that this store wasn't opened when we had Girl's Weekend because that would have made the weekend even more costly than it already was.

But, I have to say that I have been more than happy with every Threadless shirt I've purchased whether it was for or for a friend. In fact I bought Squater this gem called "The Morning After" and he called me one night to tell me that he got six compliments on the shirt in one day and he loves his "Stabby McKnife" shirt too. I love my "Communist Party" shirt. I love it so much that I wear it to work.

I wish much luck to Allison, Andrew, Jessie, and Bill. Because I know if I lived in Chicago I would have real problems with not going to this store at least once a week.

Damn you, Glarkware

This month Glarkware has two "NON" shirts that I would love to have. How do I choose between my love for The Office and my love of How I Met Your Mother? How?

What would you do? Pretzel Day or Mall?

This is so hard. Of course, I have also been contemplating the stapler shirt too. It cracks me up so hard.

Is it really possible to have a wardrobe made up of only t-shirts and jeans? Because I dream of that someday.

Fray

Beth suggested that we all should read Fray. So, I did.

Fray is a Joss Whedon comic book that tells the story of Meleka Fray, a slayer in the future. I thought the story was interesting. I liked how Meleka had parts of Buffy and Faith. It made her seem very realistic. I had a few issues with the storyline, mostly be it didn't seem to gel with the way that Buffy, the television series, ended. But then again, some of that might be addressed in the season eight comic.


In other news, I wore my Toaster shirt to work yesterday. Three different people came up to me and commented on how cool they thought it was. One of those people was a patron who was really geeked to see the shirt.

Ask and ye shall recieve

It seems like it was only a few days ago that I pondered when Glarkware would reproduce new Frakkin' Toaster shirt. Oh wait, that's because it was only six days ago! It looks like I must have been in sync (as opposed to 'NSync) with Wing and Glark since my wish was granted.

Now, go buy a frakkin' toaster shirt. All the cool kids are doing it.
